  • Research progress on the pathogenesis of colorectal serrated polyps and the role of microRNAs
    Author:Yang Kaihui Ma Ruijun Wang Rong keyword:Colorectal cancer; Serrated polyps; Clinical features; Pathogenesis; MicroRNA;
    Serrated polyps(SP) have certain malignant potential, resulting in approximately 15% to 30% of colorectal cancers through a unique serrated carcinogenic pathway. MicroRNAs(microRNAs or miRNAs) are a class of small, non-coding RNAs that are associated with the development of tumors. Studies have found that miRNA is abnormally expressed in serrated polyps(especially sessile serrated lesions), which may be involved in the progression of colorectal cancer. The article mainly summarizes the pathogenesis of jagged polyps and the differences in miRNA expression in different types of jagged polyps.
  • Progress in the application of imaging omics in lung cancer
    Author:Deng Shan Liu Li Xiang Chunyang Leng Xiaoxuan Hu Jiahang Cai Shengyan keyword: Lung cancer; Radiomics; Texture analysis;
    Lung cancer is the most common type of cancer in China and the main cause of cancer death. Early diagnosis and differentiation are important influencing factors for precise treatment of lung cancer. Medical imaging examination has the advantages of simplicity, intuition and non-invasive, and is a common means of clinical diagnosis of lung cancer. In recent years, a large number of studies have evaluated the value of imageomics in the diagnosis and differentiation of lung cancer. The article provides a retrospective analysis of the workflow of imaging omics, the identification and diagnosis of tumors, the evaluation of gene mutation status, post treatment efficacy evaluation, and research progress in prognosis prediction.
