“Chinese Journal of Difficult and Complicated Cases”adheres to the accepted code of publishing ethics and firmly opposes any form of academic misconduct. Authors who submit articles to the journal should affirm that manuscript are original. They should also ensure that their article has not been published in any language, in part or in whole, elsewhere and has not been reviewed anywhere for the purpose of publication.

All manuscripts that are found suitable for publication in Chinese Journal of Difficult and Complicated Cases will be sent to two or more expert reviewers. The journal follows a double-blind review process, wherein the reviewers and authors are unaware of each other’s identity. The comments and suggestions (acceptance/ rejection/ amendments in manuscript) received from reviewers are conveyed to the corresponding author. If required, the author is requested to provide a point by point response to reviewers’ comments and submit a revised version of the manuscript. This process is repeated till reviewers and editors are satisfied with the manuscript.

The reviewer should provide an honest, critical assessment of the papers. The reviewer should not manipulate the process to force the authors to address issues interesting or important to the reviewer but peripheral to the objective(s) of the study.

After the submitted papers are determined to be published, the magazine signs a copyright transfer agreement with the author and pays the relevant copyright fees to the author(Copyright fee standard: 50-100 RMB/1000 words for generally submitted papers, and no less than 200 RMB/1000 words for invited papers).
