  • Meta-analysis of the efficacy and safety of Jinlida Granules combined with metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus
    Author:Guo Mengzhu Zhao Jindong Fang Zhaohui Zhang Yi Yang Di keyword: Type 2 diabetes mellitus; Jinlida Granules; Metformin; Meta analysis;
    Objective To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Jinlida Granules combined with metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM), so as to provide a corresponding basis for clinical use. Methods The National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, VIP.com, and PubMed databases were systematically searched from the establishment of the database to April 15, 2023, and the research literature of Jinlida Granules combined with metformin in the treatment of T2DM was searched. Two researchers jointly completed the literature screening, quality evaluation and data extraction, and the included literature were meta-analyzed using RevMan5.4 software. The fasting blood glucose(FPG), 2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2hPG), glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) and adverse reactions of Jinlida Granules combined with metformin group(experimental group) and metformin group(control group) were compared. Results Six randomized controlled trials with a total sample size of 618 cases were included, including 310 in the experimental group and 308 in the control group. The results of meta-analysis showed that the effect of reducing HbA1c in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group [MD(95%CI)=-0.69(-1.01 to-0.37),P<0.001], the effect of reducing FPG in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group [MD(95%CI)=-1.28(-2.25 to-0.31),P=0.001], the effect of reducing 2hPG in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group [MD(95%CI)=-0.77(-1.23 to-0.30),P=0.002], and there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the experimental group and the control group [OR(95%CI)=0.52(0.26-1.03),P=0.063].Conclusion The efficacy of Jinlida Granules combined with metformin in the treatment of T2DM is significant, which is better than metformin alone, and the risk of adverse reactions is small.
  • Research progress on the relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection and Colorectal tumor
    Author:Chen Yu Li Ming Tan Shiyun keyword:Helicobacter pylori; Colorectal tumor; Pathogenic mechanism;
    It is well known that Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori) colonizes the gastric mucosa and induces inflammation and alters the gastric microbiota, which in turn leads to cause a range of gastric disorders. Since the identification of H. pylori as an infectious cause of gastric cancer, an increasing number of studies have shown that chronic H. pylori infection may be associated with different extragastric diseases, including colorectal neoplasms. Further investigation of the relationship between H. pylori infection and colorectal cancer and adenoma may provide a reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment and early prevention of colorectal neoplasms.
  • Research progress of fibroblast growth factor 21 in coronary heart disease
    Author:Huang Xinyao Han Hongyan keyword:Coronary heart disease; Atherosclerosis; Fibroblast growth factor 21;
    Coronary Heart Disease(CHD), caused by atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries, is one of the leading causes of death in patients with cardiovascular disease. Fibroblast growth factor(FGF) 21, a novel peptide hormone that regulates glucose and lipid metabolism, has recently been considered as a new biomarker for early diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. This article summarizes the latest research progress of FGF21 in the occurrence, development, and treatment of coronary heart disease, aiming to explore the clinical significance of FGF21 as a biomarker for coronary heart disease.
  • Research progress on the pathogenesis and clinical diagnosis and treatment of diverting colitis
    Author:Zhang Xue Wang Li Qin Jiamin Wen Liming keyword:Diverting colitis; Mechanism of occurrence; Diagnosis; treat;
    Diverting colitis refers to the non-specific inflammatory reaction of the mucosa in the colon and rectum after colostomy or ileostomy, where the lack of nutrients in the colon cells and the imbalance of the gut microbiota may lead to the occurrence of diverting colitis. The incidence rate of diversion colitis is very high, but only 30% of patients have symptoms and endoscopic manifestations. Its treatment includes surgical treatment, medication treatment, traditional Chinese medicine treatment, and other treatments. Diverting colitis can induce clinical symptoms such as vomiting, severe diarrhea, abdominal pain, and even develop into chronic colitis, affecting the quality of life of patients. Therefore, this article reviews the pathogenesis and progress in diagnosis and treatment of diverting colitis, in order to provide reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of diverting colitis.
  • Progress of research on the etiology and pathogenesis of dyslipidaemia in Chinese medicine and the identification and treatment of the symptoms of dyslipidaemia
    Author:Ren Rong Du Yawei Ran Longkai keyword:Dyslipidemia; Etiology; Traditional Chinese medicine; Diagnosis and treatment;
    Dyslipidaemia is a common metabolic disease, long-term dyslipidaemia will increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and the risk of death. There is no clear name for dyslipidaemia in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), and the concepts of "cream", "fat", "oil" and "ointment" are similar to it, The concepts of "grease" and "ointment" are similar. As an important part of the human body, when there is an abnormality in the production and distribution of grease, it will lead to diseases and cause "dizziness", "Chest paralysis", "phlegm", "blood stasis" and other diseases, endangering the lives of patients. The main pathogenic factors of dyslipidaemia are uncontrolled diet, unhealthy emotions, over-indulgence and under-exertion, while dampness and heat in the spleen and stomach, imbalance of the liver and kidney, and phlegm and blood stasis are the basic pathogenic factors and key links in the progression of the disease. The prevention and treatment of dyslipidaemia in Chinese medicine is mainly based on a holistic concept, stressing the internal balance and regulation of the human body, and adopting the therapeutic principle of "replenishing when it is deficient and diarrhoea when it is solid" to improve the symptoms of dyslipidaemia through strengthening the spleen, dispelling dampness, dredging the liver and tonifying the kidneys, and resolving phlegm and removing blood stasis. This article is a literature review on the etiology and mechanism of dyslipidaemia in Chinese medicine and its dialectical treatment, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for future in-depth research on the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
